Our annual meeting was held Sunday, March 22 and was well attended by the public. The meeting was called to order at 2:00 by one of our co-chairman Steve Renz who gave a summary of our activities over the last year. He highlighted the video interviews being conducted by Ken Scroggins and stated that we will be continuing to document our living history in the coming year. The minutes of last year's meeting were read by our secretary Camie Kroeger and our treasurer Dave Healey gave the year's financial report. Curator Nancy Meyers gave her report on the many happenings at the museum, including visits from people who have come from all over the country seeking their Nuckolls County roots. She also talked about our involvement in the

Victorian Festival last Memorial weekend and our annual Christmas Program that was performed for a full house. Several board members were elected to three year terms including Dave Healey, Lorri Meyer, Nancy Meyers, Steve Renz and Sarah Utecht. Finally Steve gave a summary of our future plans including the preservation of the log cabin, a new building to house more exhibits and our plans to begin digitization of our photo and document archives.Â
Following the meeting everyone was invited to enjoy refreshments including cookies, coffee

and a fruit platter. We all had fun with a trivia contest and some of us were entirely stumped on the what's-its. Dave Frey wasn't fooled however as he won the contest, with Lorri Meyer and Esther Martin tying for second place.
Thank you to everyone who attended and all who have supported the Museum and Historical Society throughout the year. We are excited for the year ahead and looking forward to this year's projects!Â
