Living History Interview Project
The Nuckolls County Museum has begun filming video interviews with the help of As Life Goes By (Ken Scroggins.) Our goal is to preserve the memories and history of those who have lived in Nuckolls County the longest and been instrumental in the development of our communities. These interviews are available to view in full at the museum any time and we will be uploading clips to our social media intermittently.
Bill Blauvelt
Bill is a lifelong resident of Nuckolls County and long time publisher and editor of The Superior Express. He was kind enough to sit for three videos with us. In the first he gives a history of Superior and it's early settlers. In the second he covers the history of the Superior Express and the importance of newspapers in settling the west. And in the third he talks about his own life and family history.

Roy Drapal
Roy tells us about his almost hundred years in Nuckolls County, his time serving his country in the Panama Canal Zone, his many travels throughout the United States and how he built an airplane from scratch. He also shows us his car collection which he restored himself, including a prize-winning hot rod.
