Nuckolls County Historical Society and Museum Christmas Program 2021

Updated: Dec 11, 2021

The Nuckolls County Historical Society and Museum held a Christmas Program for the Nuckolls County Community Sunday, Dec 5th at the Museum grounds in Superior, Nebraska. Due to the CoVid pandemic the Christmas program was not held last year. The Museum opened at 1:00 pm for touring with the Program following at 2:00 pm. The program was held in historic Henrietta Church, moved from the Ruskin, Nebraska area to the Museum grounds many years ago and the audience of over 100 filled the Church to overflowing. After a welcome and introduction by Historical Society Chairman Steve Renz the congregation group sang a couple of Christmas Carols with the accompaniment of Carlita Price on a (what else?) old fashioned church organ. The assembled then enjoyed music and comedy provided by Arnold Miller and John Price Jr. After a very convoluted explanation of Christmas financing/budgeting involving questionable math the program ended with two more sing-a-longs, a closing prayer and an invitation to coffee, punch, a wide variety of scrumptious cookies and treats and friendly conversation and fellowship.

We would like to thank Ms Vicki Williams for taking and providing the photos taken for the Christmas Program.
